The search process in Upper Crest involves detailed market mapping to ensure that clients get a full view of the available talent pool. This is followed by in-depth profiling of long-listed candidates with our commentary on compensation, role relevance, locational mobility et al.
As high-quality talent pool is limited for such roles, we spend considerable effort and time on prioritised prospects ensuring that we have the best talent on board for a given position. While creating attraction and generating interest is our mandate, we keep our approach genuine and highlight both the challenges and value adds of position mandate to prospects. With this, we ensure that we avoid any unpleasant scenario of a candidate altering her stance at any stage of the search. The entire preliminary assessment is done by us, wherein we meet candidates for a face-to-face evaluation in person or in the virtual world and only short-listed candidates are presented to the client.
Right from the time of signing up a search to the point of presenting our shortlist, we provide a weekly progress report on the search to the client. The progress update is a smart summary that makes for a few minutes read and brings client up to speed without overwhelming with information overload. While client gets to see the entire universe of candidates and their executive summary qualified with our commentary in these reports, we present detailed CVs and assessment of only shortlisted candidates.
We firmly believe that while we can recommend 2-5 Prospects for a position mandate and point our client to 1-2 who may be the best fit, we respect our client’s expertise and the fact that they are deeply embedded in their domain. We thus advice a client but truly believe that it’s their decision to make! With our expertise in research and referencing on shortlisted prospects, we help our client in making that intelligent choice!
